PURPOSE:To improve the initial lubricating property of a bearing by previously coating at least one surface of either a rolling element or a raceway with lubricant provided with an affinity with grease, a good initial lubricating ability, and a good wettability. CONSTITUTION:Balls 5 are held, equally spaced in a circle, in a retainer 6 between an inner ring 1 forming a raceway 2 on the peripheral surface and an outer ring 3 forming a raceway 4 on the internal surface. After applying grease 7 to a annular space between the inner ring 1 and the outer ring 3, a coat 8 of lubricant is previously formed on the surfaces of the raceway 2 of the inner ring 1, the raceway 4 of the outer ring 3, the ball 5 and the retainer 6 prior to pack grease 7 into the bearing. In this case, the lubricant providing an affinity with grease 7, an excellent initial lubricating ability, and a good wettability shall be used. |
