The internal space of the pipe parts is divided into a plurality of independent longitudinal chambers. In this way, a multiple cable-duct pipe is obtained which is laid in one operation. The longitudinal chambers and the complete pipe have a polygonal cross-section which is designed, for example, to be square (Fig. 3). Special pipe parts allow the individual longitudinal chambers to be guided independently of one another. In consequence, the pipe network can be branched towards the consumer. The flat and straight-lined shape makes it considerably easier to draw the cables in, since in contrast to pipes which are drawn in subsequently, there are no inner curves nor the friction which is caused by said curves. Furthermore, sealing with respect to pressed gas is provided by bonding to the sleeves, and it is possible to shoot in winch cables or cables, using compressed air. The multiple cable-duct pipe according to the invention is primarily used for cables of small diameter, preferably fibre-optic cables. An optimum cable-duct pipe for any application purpose can be offered by the production-engineering combination of different cross-sections. <IMAGE>
