In a carrier projectile, secondary projectiles 10 are accommodated in the projectile casing 2. To achieve a simple construction of the carrier projectile, the projectile casing 2 together with the projectile tip 3 is formed by a one-piece injection-moulded plastic part 1, on which predetermined breaking points 5, 6 are formed. Attached onto this plastic part 1 is the rear part 8 which serves as a sabot and which is made thicker than the plastic part 1. <IMAGE>
