摘要 PURPOSE:To secure the steering stability and traveling stability having high quality by installing a traveling-state judging means for judging the traveling state on the basis of the signals of steering angle and steering angle speed and a control means for controlling a driving mechanism on the basis of the result of judgement. CONSTITUTION:A steering-angle detector 27 outputs the detection signal theta corresponding to the steering angle of a steering wheel, and a steering-angle speed calculation circuit 29 performs sampling of the signals theta and compares the signals theta and compares the signal value with the preceding sampling value and outputs the voltage output theta' corresponding to the steering angle speed. A traveling-state judging apparatus 30 is constituted of a straight-advance state detecting circuit 31, steering-state detecting circuit 32, straight-advance judging circuit 33, sharp steering judging circuit 34, and a fixed steering judging circuit 35, and judges traveling state. The control signal CS which is supplied into a controller 52 on the basis of the output signal of the traveling-state judging circuit 30 and operates the driving circuit for torsional-rigidity varying stabilizers 10A and 10B on the basis of these signals is output.
