A holding device (1) for, in particular, printed note slips, memo slips or information cards, for example containing material to be learned, can be designed as a three-dimensional body, especially as a cube, the cube then having pockets (2) on the outside for the insertion of the individual cards or slips. In this arrangement the pockets are advantageously transparent, so that the notes can be read without being removed. Thus six different paragraphs, items of information or the like, which may combine with each other, can be accommodated on a single cube and each brought comfortably into the user's range of vision by turning the cube.
