PURPOSE:To prevent spreading of deposited sludge by a method that shielding walls are installed on the bottom of the water to which the sludge, etc. are dumped so as to make resistance to the sludge, etc. settled. CONSTITUTION:Shielding walls 2 each consisting of sheets 3, floats 4, weight bars 5, beams 6 for maintaining intervals, anchors 7, ropes 8 and auxiliary floats 9 for stretching are installed on the bottom 1 of the water in a sludge dumping area. When the sludge 11 is dumped through discharge pipes 10, the deposited sludge 11 meets with resistance of the walls 3 installed on the bottom 1. Therefore, it is prevented from running out, and remains in an area being reclaimed. As the spreading outside the area is obstructed, an ideal sludge dumping can be realized. |
