USE:A dye capable of dyeing synthetic fibers, particularly polyester fibers in yellowish red color with improved light, sublimation, water and color fastness to washing and giving improved discharge pattern having improved whiteness on resist and discharge. PREPARATION:2-Amino-5-bromo-1,3,4-thiadiazole is diazotized with nitrosyl sulfate, and the resultant diazo compound is then coupled with a coupling componet arylamine of formula III, e.g. 3-[N,N-di-(acetyloxyethyl)amino]-propionylanilide, etc.
