<p>An apparatus containing hollow fibres, comprising an elongate enclosure (1) at both ends of which there is a potting mass (8) through which pass the hollow fibres (7) extending inside the enclosure, the open end of the hollow fibres being generally in the same plane as that of the outward face (9) of each potting mass (8), a lid (10) at each end of the enclosure, each of them comprising a tube (11) for the entry or the exit of the fluid travelling inside the fibres, at least one tube (3) for the flow of a fluid between the outer wall of the hollow fibres (7) and the exterior of the enclosure (1), a seal (12) ensuring leakproofing between each potting mass (8) and the adjacent lid (10), characterised in that each seal (12) is in a groove (13) provided in the potting mass (8).
