PURPOSE:To make the maintenance work of a water sampling system by providing a measuring case where elements constituting an optical system are stored and providing an air pipe for air supply in the upper part of this case and providing a flow hole, through which a sample liquid to be measured is introduced into the measuring case, in the lower part of the case. CONSTITUTION:A light source lamp 5, a condenser lens 6, a dark chamber 9, a photodetector 10, a light source lamp control circuit 14, etc. are stored in a waterproof measuring case 16, and this case 16 is immersed directly in the sample liquid to be measured, and air 19 is sent into the case 16 through an air pipe 17 to make the pressure of sent air and the depth of water balanced, and an air cock 20 is so controlled that the optical length between the photodetector 11 and a test water surface 8 is optimum. The case 16 is provided with flow holes 18 to exchange always the sample liquid having a current velocity 15 and test water 3 in the case 16. |
