PURPOSE:To prevent disorder of a calender display by providing a driving mechanism which feeds a calendar display member in the reverse direction when the calender display member is fed in accordance with high-speed hand movement for display switching of hands. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of a quartz oscillation circuit 5 is inputted to a motor driving signal generating circuit 8 and a counting processing circuit 14 through a frequency dividing circuit 6 and a hand movement control circuit 7. A motor driving circuit 9 drives a step motor 10 in accordance with the signal supplied from the circuit 8. Meanwhile, the motor 10 feeds a date dial 2 once a day through a wheel train 16 and a calendar driving mechanism 17. The driving mechanism 17 is so constituted that transmission of the driving force between the date dial 2 and the mechanism 17 is controlled by a calendar driving mechanism 19. A calendar forward correcting mechanism 18 is provided for driving the data dial 2 in accordance with the operation of an external operation member block 11 to correct the display of date. Consequently, even if the calendar display member is fed in accordance with high-speed hand movement for display switching of hands, the display of data is corrected. |
