PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise due to the flow of overflow water, by a method wherein water is guided to the under-side of a means which forms a noise insulating surface in a direction, extending across running water of a river, through securing of the one end of said means to a cover. CONSTITUTION:The one end of a flexible film 2 having flow-in ports 3 and flow- out ports 4 is secured to a portion in the vicinity of the top part of a weir body 1 formed with a cover made of a flexible film. This causes overflow water to flow in through the flow-in ports 3 and flow out from the flow-out ports 4, resulting in reduction of production of noise through insulation of fall-down noise of the overflow water. |
