[Also in Divisions C3 and D1] A laminate comprises a pair of pellucid sheets and, as an interlayer between them, a layer of a sheet formed from a composition comprising a polyvinyl acetal, an alkylated hydroxyphenylbenzo-triazole, a plasticizer for the polymer, and, optionally, a dyestuff. The sheets are suitably of glass and the laminates are obtained by subjecting the three-layer sheet composite to heat and pressure to bond the sheets. The dyestuff may be incorporated in the interlayer by printing on a sheet of plasticized polyvinyl acetal with a solution containing a dyestuff which is diffusible in the polymer. |
