PURPOSE:To allow a speaker to be contained in the thickness of a cassette cover and to miniaturize a device by making a speaker installed a cassette cover of a tape recorder into the one made of a piezoelectric ceramic. CONSTITUTION:A hole in which piezoelectric ceramic speakers 2 and 3 are fit is bored on a cassette cover 4, said piezoelectric ceramic speakers 2 and 3 are fit, and the vicinity is bonded and fixed. The thickness of the piezoelectric speakers 2 and 3 is thinner than that of the cassette cover 4. Therefore the speakers 2 and 3 can be completely contained in the thickness of the cassette speaker 4. Accordingly this will not prevent a headphone stereo 1 from being thinner. When a piezoelectric ceramic is used as a speaker for a monitor, the piezoelectric ceramic vibrates in accordance with variation of an impressed voltage, and the vibration is taken out as a soudn pressure; therefore an electric power is hardly consumed.
