An end fitting for a webbing strap, comprising a housing with a trapezoidal recess having a slot at the recess apex, the strap being formed into a loop and moulded into a plastics resin wedge, the wedge material having a modulus of elasticity lower than that of the webbing but a shear strength adequate to prevent extrusion thereof through the slot, the slot closely encompassing the webbing. <IMAGE> |
