PURPOSE:To engage a turning cover by simple constitution without damaging a tape and to secure tape protection by controlling turn of the 1st turning cover in the opening direction by the 2nd turning cover at the time of opening/closing of the 1st and the 2nd turning covers, by turning the 2nd turning cover at the time of opening the 1st turning cover so as to release regulations and by executing an opening action of the 2nd turning cover, interlocking with the release. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette is not used, a tape 7 is supported by a supporting shaft 24, and inserted between the 1st turnine cover 14 and the 2nd turning cover 26. In an interior of the 1st turning cover 14 interlocking members 29 and 30 are formed, and protruding shafts 27 and 28 are engaged to guide grooves 31 and 32. As a result, the 2nd turning cover 26 cannot move, and interlocking this, the turn of the 1st rotational cover 14 is connected. On the other hand, when a cassette 6 is inserted into a holder 37, and shifted in a B direction, a protrusion 38 invades a notch 36, which presses a lower end 40 of the 2nd rotational cover 26, the engagement of the 1st and the 2nd turning covers is released, and the 1st turning cover 14 is made rotatable. Then, when the holder 37 is mounted on a device, the 2nd turning cover 26 rotates upper backward, interlocking with the turn of the 1st turning cover 14, the 2nd turning cover 26 turns rear upward and pulling-out of the tape 7 is made possible.
