发明名称 EVAPORATION TYPE LIQUID FUEL COMBUSTION DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce accumulation of tar by a method wherein the inner surface of a metallic evaporating cylinder is covered by an organic substance cracking catalyst and an organic substance cracked film while said inner surface is kept at the boiling temperature of the film. CONSTITUTION:The liquid fuel 1 is ejected together with air 2 and is evaporated on a heating and evaporating surface 3 while mixed gas is burnt by a burner head 4 to form flame 5. The temperature of the evaporating surface 3 is kept at the boiling temperature of the film by an electric heater 7 and heat transferred from the burner head 4. The film is consisting of the organic substance breakdown catalyst 9 and a binding agent 10 consisting of the chemical compound of carbon-silicon-boron. When the temperature of the evaporating surface is kept at the boiling temperature of the film and the fuel 1, including non-volatile constituent 11, is evaporated, the accumulating place of the non-volatile constituent 11 is enlarged. According to the enlargement, the load of the catalyst is reduced. The catalyst 9 is consisting of oxide of a metal such as titanium, iron or the like and rare earth element, platinum, palladium, active clay, potassium carbide and the like and generation of tar is reduced by oxidative decomposition or cracking of the non-volatile constituent 11 which becomes the cause of generation of the tar.
