HIGH-ORTHO PHENOL-FORMALDEHYDE RESOLES CONTAINING HEMIFORMAL GROUPS Disclosed ore high-ortho phenol-formaldehyde resoles having stable hemiformal groups. These resoles are of low viscosity, are essentially free of unbound water and volatile organic compounds. They are curable to phenolic formaldehyde resinous solids and are particularly suitable for use in liquid injection molding processes to form composites.
