PURPOSE:To realize bright and uniform Koehler illumination by arranging a couple of light source image forming lenses on a couple of on-axis principal light beams in a standard use state, and inserting an auxiliary lens near the front focal point of a light source image relay lens when a sample varies in height. CONSTITUTION:This is the transmission lighting device of a stereo-microscope equipped with a light source 1 and a convex lens system 3 arranged on the rear side of a sample surface, and the auxiliary lens 17 is arranged near the front focus position 16 of the convex lens system 3 in a free inserting and extracting state. A couple of light sources 1 or light source images 14 are arranged at positions conjugate to a couple of entrance pupils 13 of the stereo-microscope as to the convex lens 3 in the standard use state or as to the convex lens 3 and auxiliary lens 17 when the sample surface on the surface of stage glass 5 is displaced. |
