PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device capable of improving operating efficiency by enabling the holding parts of plural work holders of a crosswise-movable work- mounting table of a press, etc. to advance and retreat or to swivel independently and changing their holding positions according to operation or the size of work. CONSTITUTION:Work holding devices 16 actuated by plural cylinders 26 of a crosswise-movable work-mounting table 6 of press 1, etc. which is actuated by cylinders 11, 14, are enabled to change their positions independently. Each work holder 16 is enabled to advance and retreat by a hydraulic chamber 32a, and to operate smoothly without hindrance by retreating unnessary or obstructive holders 16. The operating efficiency is improved by making the holding of a work W at the proper position of the regripping of the work W simple and easy. Further, the work holders 16 can be laterally swiveled to operate smoothly without hindrance. |
