PURPOSE:To scan an element on a sheet in conformity with dots which are optically scanned and to improve an S/N with simple constitution by scanning optically a fluorescent body sheet in dotted-shape, by arranging one solid-state photoelectric conversion element at the position which corresponds to the dot, and by reading the glittered light by dot to dot. CONSTITUTION:An accumulative fluorescent body sheet 1 is supported in the cylindrical shape and fixed. An excitation reading part 3, which unifies a dot optical source and a solid-state photoelectric conversion element is installed at a rotary plate 2 with a circumference face 2a along the cylindrical face. The rotary plate 2 is rotated at a high speed, is main-scanned in the A direction, and is subscanned in a rotary shaft 2A direction (the arrow B direction). A dot optical source 13 and a solid-state photoelectric conversion element 14 are provided at the excitation reading part 3, and the first transparent electrode 14B, an optical conductor layer 14C, and the second transparent electrode 14D are laminated on a transparent base plate 14A of the element 14. The element 14 is scanned on the sheet 1 in conformity with the dots which are optically scanned, and an S/N is improved with simple constitution.
