PURPOSE:To enable collections of a great quantity of earthquake data with a low-speed circuit, by committing data into memory only when the shock starts on the observation point side and transferring the data to the central station. CONSTITUTION:At a substation 14, each output signal of each seismometer 11- 13 is A/D converted to store it in a buffer 16 and the content of the buffer 16 is transferred to a memory 20 with a command from the central station 21. Later, when a decision member 17 detects its extinction, a decision member of the station 21 let the content of the memory 20 to be collected. |
