PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and inexpensive small distance measuring and image pick-up apparatus equipped with high distance measuring function and the image forming capacity of an object, by arranging a CO2-laser beam detector (HgCdTe) for detecting CO2-laser beam reflected from a subject and IRCD in close vicinity to each other to receive both of them in a cooler. CONSTITUTION:CO2-laser beam is incident on an object through a CO2-laser oscillator 13 and a transmission optical system 14. Reflected beam is incident on the HgCdTe detector 2 in a detector 16 cooled by a closed cycle cooler 21 through a receiving optical system and the output thereof allows a stop pulse to generate through a video amplifier 17 and said pulse is counted to perform the measurement of a distance. On the other hand, infrared rays from an object are incident on IRCCD31 arranged at the center of the detector 16 and allow a CCD drive circuit 20 to drive to successively write image signals in RAM through a preamplifier 22 and an AD converter 23. Signals of memory (RAM) 24 and memory (ROM) 25 are read on the basis of the timing of a synchronous control circuit 19 and video output is obtained through a mixer 26 and a DA converter 27. Because CO2-laser is used, the measurement of a distance is performed with high accuracy. |
