PURPOSE:To display clearly the position of the deficiency part in a real time and to simplify the constitution of a monitor by providing a present value memory, a reference value memory, an abnormal address storage memory, etc. CONSTITUTION:Picture information of the monitored object from a camera 11 is digitized by an A/D converter 12, the information is stored in a present value memory 14, and the proper picture information is stored in a reference value memory 15. The memory 15 and the contents of the momentarily changed memory 14 are compared by a comparator 17 by on-line, and when both contents have discrepancy, the discrepant position is stored in an abnormal address storage memory 16. A timing control circuit 13, a monitor display 20, and a central processor 19 which controls the whole are provided. When deficiency occurs in the newly obtained picture, the abnormal part is sensed from the contents of the memory 16, and the luminance of the corresponding place of the display 20 is set as the maximum luminance. Only the position is corrected by the data which are read from the memory 15, and the position of the deficiency part is displayed clearly in a real time. |
