TELEVISION SIGNAL TRANSMISSION METHOD

PURPOSE:To detect data correctly regardless of insertion position dislocation of data format without using a complex circuit by transferring a reference signal by adding it to a data signal from a transferring side and by computing a sampling point of the data signal from the reference signal on a receiving side. CONSTITUTION:A multiple part 1 on the transmitting side overlaps the data signal and the reference signals ''1'' and ''0'' between vertical synchronizing blanking sections and sends them out. The reference signals are overlapped in the same frequency as the data signals at front of the data signals. In the receiving section a clock generation circuit 4 synchronizes with a horizontal synchronizing signal M to make a reference clock L. A pattern detection circuit 3 detects levels of the reference signal and data signals, and a stable area setting circuit 7-1 detects the front ''H'' of the detected results and sets the ''H'' level area. At the same time, the number of clock L in the area is counted and ''n'' of counted results decides a stable area of the reference signal. An arithmetic circuit 7-2 operates a central reference position of said area by the signal denoting the area. A timing generation circuit 7-3 sends out data signal extraction timing D to a data extraction circuit 5 by said position signal.
