PURPOSE:To simplify the assembling, improve the mass productivity, and reduce the production cost by forming a cylinder and a cylinder head in one body and by providing an intake valve and an exhaust valve between this cylinder head and a cylinder head cover. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 10a and a cyliner head 10i are formed in one body as a cylinder body 10, and an intake vent 10b and an exhaust vent 10c are provided which have their shoulders 10d and 10f on the cylinder head 10i respectively. In the intake vent 10b, an intake valve 12 is installed by means of inserting a stopper 12c which engages the shoulder 10d, a spring 12d, a valve 12b, and a valve seat 12a in this order. Also in the exhaust vent 10c, an exhaust valve 11 is installed by means of inserting the parts in the reverse order of the intake valve 12, on the upper part of which a cylinder head cover 14 is placed and fixed using a bolt not shown in the figure. The intake valve 12 and the exhaust valve 11 are fixed between the cylinder head and the cyliner head cover. |
