PURPOSE:To improve the lock state when a door is closed, improve the car body strength, and reduce the car body vibration by providing a pin at the rotary free end section of the door and providing a coupling mechanism allowing the pin to be coupled with the car body facing this end section. CONSTITUTION:In a car equipped with a horizontal engine E, etc., one end section of a door 1 is pivotally fitted to a car body B via a hinge 2. A taper pin 3 is protruded toward the car inside on the inner wall of the other end section of the door 1. On the other hand, the car body B is provided with a coupling mechanism coupled with the taper pin 3 at the engaging portion of the door 1 with the other end section when the door 1 is closed. This coupling mechanism is constituted with a sleeve 5 as a cylindrical member, a slide block 7 as a receiving member with a pin engaging hole, and a spring 8. When the door 1 is closed, the taper pin 3 is allowed to enter the pin engaging hole 7a of the slide block 7, and both 3, 7 are allowed to enter the sleeve 5 against the spring 8. |
