摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain plating having low hydrogen brittleness and high corrosion resistance without requiring baking by anodizing an article to be plated under specified conditions immediately after pickling in a pretreating stage plating and by successively forming Zn-Ni alloy plating and Zn plating. CONSTITUTION:An article to be plated is pickled and anodized in an alkali bath at >=60 deg.C. The hydrogen brittleness of the article can be thoroughly eliminated in a short time. Zn-Ni alloy plating of 2-6mum thickness is formed on the surface of the article as an underlayer. The Zn-Ni alloy plating has low hydrogen brittleness, and the plating of said thickness produces a barrier effect on the permeation of hydrogen. Zn plating is then formed on the under layer. Thus, plating having low hydrogen brittleness and high corrosion resistance can be obtd.
