PURPOSE:To attenuate the noise and vibration generated from an accumulator by fixing an additional inertial body to the accumulator equipped for a closed motor-driven compressor which is used in an air conditioner or the like. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator 7 is fixed in parallel to a closed vessel 1 using a mounting support 8, which is connected to a compressor mechanism 5 through a bent tube 11. On a metallic body 14 fitted on the trunk section of this accumulator 7, is fixed a mount 15 on which an additional inertial body 17 is attached through a shock absorber 16 such as a rubber, etc. And the natural frequency generated by this accumulator 7 is made to shift from the high frequency range of the compressor vibration to its low frequency range to attenuate the noise and vibration to be generated.
