PURPOSE:The titled composition printable with the aid of laser beams, prepared by adding a small amount of a nacreous pigment to a polyolefin resin. CONSTITUTION:0.05-5pts.wt. nacreous pigment (e.g., titanium dioxide-coated mica) is added to 100pts.wt. polyolefin resin (e.g., polyethylene, polypropylene, or ethylene/propylene copolymer). The external surfaces of ordinary utensils, vessels, etc., can be easily printed with their dates, No., etc., of production by means of laser beams. |
