PURPOSE:To obtain the resin-cast electric apparatus having no cracks and exfoliation by a method wherein electrically insulating chopped fibers are integrally provided on the surface of the resin containing inorganic filling material cast on the electrically insulated reinforced part of the electric apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The coil 1 of a fluorescent lamp stabilizer is housed in a stabilizer case 2, chopped polyester fibers 4 of 2mm. in length are provided by splinkling then on the surface formed by casting an unsaturated polyester resin casting material 3 containing 50wt% of silica. The fibers 4 are hardened by heating, and formed in one body with the resin casting material. The electrically insulated chopped fibers consist of the inorganic fibers such as glass, asbestos and the like, the organic synthetic fibers such as polyester, polyacryl, polyurethan, polyamide, polyvinyl alcohol and the like, and the fibers consisting of natural fibers such as cotton and the like in cut form. These fibers have the property wherein the bubbles contained in the inorganic filling material or generated from the cast resin containing inorganic filling material and a large quantity of microscopic bubbles of 0.1-0.5mm. in diameter engulfed when mixing, are exhausted into the air. |
