PURPOSE:To preclude generation of a potential difference between adjoining conductors and to prevent electro static breakage of conductors by providing connecting wiring between conductors and connecting said wiring by passing through a cutting area of a wafer. CONSTITUTION:A common line 6 is arranged in a scribe area 5 surrounding a pellet shown by a hatched line, in order to conduct all conductors, and a wiring 8 to couple the common line 6 is formed in the nearest location from each conductor 7 and from the location where the wiring 8 does not intersect with other wiring. By conducting other conductors in such a way, generation of potential difference and electro static breakage can be prevented. Since the common line is arranged in the scribe area, the common line is scraped at the time of cutting a wafer, and conduction between conductors is eliminated; therefore there is no trouble at the time of using a chip. When an element is constituted in such a way that plural blocks are made into one chip, the common line is arranged by entering an area in which a wafer is cut. |
