摘要 PURPOSE:To operate three furnaces so as to have the same life and to improve the working efficiency of a process for production by attaching many thermometers and displacement sensors to a smelting furnace, slag cleaning furnace and blister copper producing furnace in the process for producing blister copper from concentrate of copper, discovering the abnormality in each furnace from the detected values thereof and making quickly safety measure. CONSTITUTION:Copper concentrate, flux, fuel and air are injected from a lance 4 in a smelting furnace 1 and are melted by which the matte and slag of copper are produced. The slag A emitted from a blister copper producing furnaced 3 is returned to the furnace 1 and the copper-content contained therein is recoverd. The copper matte and slag formed in the furnace 1 is fed into a slag cleaning furnace 2 where the matte and slag are heated by the electricity supplied from an electrode 5 and are separated by a difference in specific gravity. Only the matte is put into the furnace 3 into which the air and flux through a lance 6 are fed to oxidize the Fe and S in the matte and the crude copper is produced. Many thermometers and displacement meters are attached to these three furnaces 1-3 and are controlled in a measuring chamber. When an abnormal value is emitted, a safety measure is provided to said part so that the three furnaces have the same service life. The working efficiency in the process for producing the flister copper by the above-mentioned three furnaces is thus improved.
