PURPOSE:To permit fine adjustment of vehicle height by constituting flow paths communicating to each vehicle height adjusting gas chamber in front and rear of a vehicle to have different diameters, and approximately equalizing the vehicle height adjusting time. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle height adjusting apparatus controllably operates front and rear change-over valves 7, 8 an atmosphere opening exhaust valve 9 and a compressor 2 in a control valve unit 13 by a control unit 14 to supply and discharge high pressure air to and from each gas chamber of a front fork 4 and a rear cushion 5 and thus adjust the vehicle height. In this case, air pipes 6a, 6b interconnecting each gas chamber of the control valve unit 13, the front fork 4 and the rear cushion 5 have the different diameters to equalize approximately the vehicle height adjusting time in the front and rear. Thus, while fine adjustment of vehicle height can be carried out, the adjusting time can be set properly according to the capacity of a pressure source. |
