PURPOSE:To easily fix a carpet while prevent its end part from coming off by laminating a carpet on a board core member made of a hard fiber board, on which slits are formed, through a non-breathable film, and interposingly holding and fixing the periphery of a laminated body by means of an edge frame member. CONSTITUTION:A non-breathable film 10 trimmed to a required size is provided between a board core member 1 and a carpet 2. An edge frame member 11, which serves both as fixing and ornament, is fitted over the periphery of a laminated body consisting of these members 1, 2, 10, while a sewed part 12 is formed by means of sewing process, piercing, from top to end, through the interposingly holding end part of the edge frame member 11. The edge frame member 11 is formed by an extrusion molded body such as, e.g., a non-rigid PVC, etc., and a sealing lip 11a, which absorbs the dimensional error in the joint part between a rear parcel and a body component, is formed in an integrated form with the outer periphery of the member 11. Thereby, the carpet 2 can be fixed to the board core member 1, easily and securely, while preventing the end part of the carpet 2 from coming off. |
