<p>Alpha-R-3-phenoxybenzyl 3-(2,2-dihalovinyl)2,2-dimethyl cyclopropane carboxylates of formula (I) are made by reaction of cpds. of formula (II) with cpds. of formula (III). The halogen may be F, Cl or Br and R is CH3, CN or H. The reaction is carried out in presence of a trans-esterification catalyst, in an inert solvent.</p> |
