<p>Process for obtaining asymmetric 1,4-dihydropyridines of formula I <IMAGE> where R1 and R2 are not the same, by reacting an ylidine compound of formula II or III <IMAGE> <IMAGE> with an enamine compound of formula IV or V <IMAGE> <IMAGE> characterised in that the ylidine compounds of formula II or III are prepared by reacting an ester of ketocarboxylic acid of formula VI or VII <IMAGE> <IMAGE> with aldehyde of formula RCHO in a solvent in the presence of catalytic quantities of acetate salts of amines at temperatures between -10 degree C and 100 degree C.</p> |
