The treatment consists of (1) incorporating a cationic prepolymer resin into a micellar mixture of an anionic surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant, (2) treating the previously-washed wool fibre with the micellar mixture at 45-65 deg. C, and (3) curing the resin after it has exhausted onto the fibre.
