PURPOSE:To prevent rubber plates from being broken due to a nonuniform pressure, by a construction wherein spacing members for receiving spacing projected parts of adjacent ordinary filter plates are provided at desired parts of filtering surfaces of rubber plates which are provided on both sides of a base plate and are provided with filtrate grooves in the filtering surfaces. CONSTITUTION:The filter plate 1 comprises the rubber plates 4 which are provided on both sides of the base plate 3 and are provided with the filtrate grooves 6 in the filtering surfaces 5. Cylindrical fitting parts 9 provided at four parts of the filtering surfaces 5 of the plates 4 are engaged to recessed parts 8 provided at top parts of expanded parts 7 provided on both sides of and at four parts of the plate 3, and engaging projected parts 9a are provided at the tips of the fitting parts 9. A pair of the spacing members 10 made of a hard material such as a metal and having a predetermined thickness are provided in the fitting part 9, and the outer end parts thereof are slightly protruded outward beyond the expanded parts 7. The projected parts 9a are fitted into engaging recessed parts 11a provided at inner end parts of the members 10, and the members 10, 10 are fixed by a bolt 12 and a nut 13, with the plate 3 clamped therebetween. When the spacing projected parts 19 of the ordinary filter plates 2 are made to abut on the members 10, the plate 4 is not intermediately present between the member 10 and the ordinary filter plate 2, so that nonuniform pressure is not exerted on the plate 4.
