PURPOSE:To detect easily a misinput even for the types of products, the quantity, etc. when the registered data is cancelled and to attain the assured stock control, etc., by comparing the data fed in a cancel operation mode with the result of totalization obtained by an arithmetic means which totalizes the data fed from a terminal device after decomposing those data into numerical value. CONSTITUTION:The input data from a keyboard 1 are decomposed into the numerical value and totalized, and the result of totalization is defined as the cancel sum CS. A checking cancel sum equal to the SUM CS is fed in a cancel operation mode and also the data to be cancelled is fed to obtain a cancel sum. This cancel sum is compared with said checking cancel sum, and the registered data is cancelled only when the coincidence of comparison is obtained. In other words, the cancel sum 42 printed on a sales slip and to be cancelled is fed in the form of a checking cancel sum CS'. Then a register key is pushed to register the sum CS' to an individual data store part 8. Then the amount shown on the sales slip is fed and the register key is pushed to calculate the sum CS. Then a subtotal key is pushed to obtain the sum CS. A total key is pushed after confirming the sum CS and therefore the sum CS' and the sum CS are read out of the part 8 and then compared with each other at an arithmetic processing part 9. |
