PURPOSE:To connect a trunk line and an extension telephone set without intervention of the operator by providing a circuit interfacing with a CPU, voice response circuit, PB signal reception circuit and a control section to a voice response telephone connecting device. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming call comes to a trunk line tunk 2 via a trunk line 1, the CPU4 detects it, starts a CPU interface circuit 10 in a voice response telephone connecting device 8 so as to set a bus (1) between the trunk 2 and the device 8. The control section 9 transmits a voice message as ''This is the XXcompany and please dial the extension number'' stored in the voice response circuit 11 to the caller. When the caller listens to the message and depresses an extension number, the extension number is received by the PB signal reception circuit 12 via the trunk 2 and the network NW3 and the control section 9 informs it to the CPU4 via the circuit 10. The CPU4 calls the extension telephone set 5 according to the extension number and when the telephone set responds thereto, a bus (2) between the trunk 2 and the telephone set 5 is set to connect the trunk line 1 and the called telephone set 5. |
