PURPOSE:To efficiently arrange pipes, by providing exhaust pipes of cylinders, arranged in the rear side of a car body in a vertical multicylinder V-engine, to be extended rearward through a part between both left and right arms of a rear fork and forming the section of insertion parts, between the both left and right arms, of said exhaust pipes in an oval shape. CONSTITUTION:A vertical four-cylinder V-engine, having cylinders 17, 18 in the front side of a car body and cylinders 19, 20 in the rear side, respectively connects exhaust pipes 21-24 with each cylinder 17-20. Here the exhaust pipes 21, 22, after they are extended to the rear of the car body via the bottom of the engine, join together into one pipe. While the exhaust pipes 23, 24 are inserted from the rear of the engine to a space 11d between both left and right arms 11a, 11a of a rear fork 11, and the pipes 23, 24, after they are curved in a U-shape and extended to the rear of the car body, join together into one pipe. Further the exhaust pipes 23, 24, joining with the one pipe collecting the exhaust pipes 21, 22, are connected with a muffler. Here the exhaust pipes 23, 24, forming their section in insertion parts 23a, 24a of the space 11d to an oval shape, prevent the rear fork 11 or the like from being brought into contact with the pipes. |
