PURPOSE:To enable perfect removal of ink after screen printing, by immersing a screen printing plate having a printing material adhered thereto in a washing solution and imparting ultrasonic vibration to said washing solution. CONSTITUTION:A printing plate after the completion of printing is immersed in a washing solution and ultrasonic vibration is imparted to the washing solution. By imparting ultrasonic vibration, ink adhered to a narrow part such as the periphery of an emulsion can be dissolved in the washing solution within a short time. Therefore, the deterioration of the plate caused by the washing solution is reduced and, in addition, the whole of the plate can be uniformly washed. During this treatment, if the plate is rocked or the washing solution is stirred, washing force is further increased. In the next step, the plate is perfectly washed by shower washing and finally dried to finish washing. |
