PURPOSE:To obtain a constant printing density by recovering, into a subtank a surplus mixture of fluid from an ink foundation tank and by adding new ink and supplying the fluid to an ink fountain roll at the most suitable condition of concentration. CONSTITUTION:A plate cylinder 5 is furnished with a water supply mechanism 2, 3, 4 and an ink supply mechanism consisting of an ink fountain 9, an ink fountain roll 8, a mesh roll 1 and form damping rollers 6 and 7. And a surplus fluid mixes with the ink in the ink fountain 9. The ink overflowed from the ink fountain 9 is recovered by a subtank 13 and new ink or water is supplied by an ink tank 15 or by a water tank 16 that are separately provided and stirred to have the most suitable concentration. Thus, the ink is supplied to the ink fountain roll 8 through a pump 24 and a supply pipe 25. |
