PURPOSE:To prevent staining of a charge electrode with jetted ink and to prevent deterioration of the quality of printing by the attached ink by putting a charge electrode out of the track of ink jet at the times of making and breaking of electric power. CONSTITUTION:A charge electrode 31 is supported at its both ends for free pivoting and is provided with a protruding interlinkage 31c. A push type solenoid magnet 33 is provided in such a manner as to be abutting against the interlinkage and pushing it up with its head. At the time of making and breaking of electric power, by the action of the solenoid magnet 33, the charge electrode 31 is pivoted at an axis of the both ends contained in the guides 32 due to the reason that it is pushed up by the head of the solenoid magnet 33 which is abutted against the interlinkage 31c. In other words, the charge electrode 31 is put out of the track of jetted ink. Therefore, the ink globules from the nozzles pass underneath the charge electrode without staining it and are collected in a gutter 9 as unnecessary ink globules. |
