<p>The squeeze pump rollers squeeze the opposite sides, instead of the inside, of a transport tube. A flexible tube(15) for transport of slurry, etc. leads into and out of a pump casing(11) and follows a curved path inside this casing. One side of a central, horizontal, rotating drive shaft(22) in the pump carries a pair of support shafts(24) extending normally to the rotation axis. The opposite side carries an identical pair of support shaft(24) extending in the opposite direction. A freely rotatable queeze roller(25) is mounted at the end of each support shaft. Each pair of squeeze rollers in turn squeezes opposite sides of the flexible tube as the drive shaft rotates.</p> |
