PURPOSE:To form a highly reliable molded transformer by disposing terminals of the beginning and the end of the winding of a resin molded coil on at least one leg among three legs on different planes at swelling portions of the outer periphery of the coil respectively. CONSTITUTION:Since terminals U and X of a U-phase coil 2a and terminals V and Y of a V- phase coil 2b are disposed on different planes at swelling portions of the outer peripheries of the respective coils, if connection conductors 5' and 6' having a comparatively simple shape of which the number of bent portions is fewer than that of connection conductors 5 and 6 hitherto employed in order to connect the terminal X with the terminal V and the terminal Y with a terminal W are used, a mutual interval between solid crossing portions of the connection conductors 4' and 5' and those of connection conductors 4' and 6' can be secured without difficulty. Even if the connection conductors 4', 5' and 6' are distorted by external forces, they are not liable to yield mixing contacts. Furthermore, since the connection conductors 4', 5' and 6' are improved in their mechanical strength by a portion of reduction in the number of bent portions of the connection conductors 5' and 6', and, therefore, are difficult to distort by external forces, their sufficient reliability with respect to insulation can be obtained without giving insulating sheaths to the connection conductors and providing a special insulating support member. Furthermore, the connection conductors becomes easy to manufacture because their shapes are comparatively simple. |
