PURPOSE:To reduce the flow pressure of water in and around a fence by a method in which a water-impermeable fence is set by slantly crossing the direction of flow between the weight group fixed to the bottom of river and float group floating on the water surface. CONSTITUTION:In laying a fence 4 for preventing the run-off of ourbid water due to river bottom construction work, water-impermeable cloth fences 1 are hung down between a weight group 2 fixed to the bottom of river and a float group 3 mutually connected through a rope 12. The fence 4 is laid at a slanted angle of about 30 deg. to the direction of flowing water, and the other end of a wire 5 whose one end is fixed to the fence cloth 1 is laid while pulling to the upstream side. The pressures to be applied to the fence by flowing water can thus be reduced, and bad influence to the fence cloth 1 can be lessened. |
