Ski boot comprising a shell 1, a collar and a clamping means consisting of a looped cable 11 associated with a lever 16, characterised: - in that the said collar surrounding the leg consists, in a known manner, DOLLAR on the one hand, of a first casing 5 capable of tilting forwards, articulated on the shell about a first axis of articulation 6, DOLLAR on the other hand, of a second cover piece 8 capable of tilting rearwards, articulated on the shell about a second axis of articulation 7, these two axes of articulation 6 and 7 defining two substantially equal radii with bearing points 30-31 of the leg on the top of the boot; - and in that the cable 11 in the form of a loop passes in the vicinity of these two axes of articulation 6 and 7 of the casing 5 and of the cover piece 8 on the shell 1. <IMAGE>
