PURPOSE:To properly blend soft soil with a soil improvement agent while they are being conveyed to a filling-up area by a method that a hopper feeding the agent to the soil is installed at the loading point of a belt conveyer transporting the soil to said area from a soil accumulated or collecting place. CONSTITUTION:Soft soil A is loaded on a long-distance conveyor 2 at its accumulated or collecting place 1, and a hopper 5 is installed via a frame 4 near the loading point of the conveyer 2. A soil improvement agent B such as quick lime stored in the hopper 5 is fed to the soil A being conveyed on the belt conveyer 2. While being conveyed to the destination, they are properly blended by vibration and stirring action at junctions. In this way, the trafficability of the reclaimed soil can be improved without installing a special ground improvement equipment in the reclaimed area. |
