PURPOSE:To facilitate judgment, by computing the degree of fatness based on a standard body weight determined by the value of a height and the body weight detected by a weight sensor, and printing the output data in different color when the degree of fatness is out of a preset range. CONSTITUTION:An electronic body-weight meter is constituted of the following parts: a keyboard 1, through which data such as heights, the distinction of sexes, and the like are inputted; an operation control part 2, which computes the degree of fatness based on the input data; a weight sensor 3, which converts the body weight into an electric signal; a display part 4, which displays the measured result and the degree of fatness; and a printer 5, which prints the results based on the output data of the operation control part 2. The operation control part 2 computes the degree of fatness based on the inputted data, judges whether the computed result is within the predetermined range or not, and can instruct the printer 5 so that the data within the range is printed in black color and the data outside the range is printed in red color.
